TJC Celebrates 20 Glorious Years of Chinese Language Elective Programme (CLEP)

2010 marks the 20th Anniversary of TJC's CLEP. We celebrate this significant milestone of the college in successfully nurturing Chinese elites within the rich cultural diversity of multi-racial Singapore. Over the years, many of our CLEP graduates have continued to nurture their interest and further hone their facility in the Chinese language by taking up relevant courses at universities both locally and overseas. They went on to pursue successful careers that require a strong command of both the Chinese and English languages, as well as a good understanding of the Chinese culture and society. Many are currently in the front line of engaging China, contributing to our nation as the bridges between Greater China and Singapore, as well as supporting the Chinese language education through their contributions in the media or the education sector. In collaboration with NTU, some of our Chinese tutors and students have contributed articles in the Secondary 3 Higher Chinese Cultural Handbook which was published and launched on 31 March in our college, and reported in Lianhe Zaobao.
