Financial Assistance Schemes for Year 2 Students (2004)

The currently available financial assistance schemes are listed below. Please note that applicantions require recommendation and endorsement by civics tutor.

Financial Assistance Schemes for Year 2 Students (2004)

MOE Bursary:
($500 p.a. + full waiver of School Fees + 50% waiver of standard miscellaneous fees)
As and when the need arises. (1) Pupil must be a S'pore citizen.
(2) Pupil whose family is receiving social welfare aid or
Families with 1 or 2 children:
      Gross income per month <= $900
Families with 3 or more children:
      Gross income per month <= $1050
SWF (Regular Financial Assistance) As and when the need arises. (1) Pupil must be a poor or needy TJC student
(2) Monthly family Net income per capita <= $400
SWF (A-level/SAT Exam Fees Subsidy) 5 May 2004 (1) Pupil must be a poor or needy TJC student
(2) Monthly family Net income per capita <= $450
SWF (Urgent Financial Assistance) As and when urgently required Poor or needy TJC student

(2) Gross family monthly income per capita <= $200
(3) Non-recipient of bursary awards awarded by other organizations (excluding Edusave Merit Bursary)
(4) Good conduct & satisfactory academic results
PMBM Bursary Award ($400 p.a.) Feb 2004 (1) Pupil must be a S'pore citizen or PR
(2) Non-recipient of bursary awards awarded by other organizations
Singapore Buddhist Lodge Bursary ($800 p.a.) Aug/Sept 2004 (1) Pupil must be a S'pore citizen or PR
(2) Pupil must be from poor or needy families
(3) Non-recipient of bursary awards awarded by other organizations
MDIS Bursary ($300) Apr 2004 (1) Pupil must be a S'pore citizen or PR
(2) Total monthly income for both parents <= $2000
Singapore Buddhist Youth Mission Bursary ($500 p.a.) Nov 2004 (1) Pupil must be a S'pore citizen or PR
(2) Pupil must be from poor or needy families


Application forms are available from Miss Tay Sen Ai (Sci Dept) or Mrs Leong Siew Kheng (Maths Dept) in Staff Room 2.

(2) Total family monthly income < $2000
(3) Non-recipient of bursary awards awarded by other organizations
SPD-DBS-HOPE Education Programme Awards (The quantum of awards will be determined by the society) Oct 2004 (1) Pupil who is disabled / at least one parent who is disabled
(2) Pupil must be a S'pore citizen or PR
(3) Total family monthly income < $3000
