Scholarship available to JC1 and 2 Students at TJC

Arts Book Awards
Valued at $300 for students who scored L1R5 7 points or better and offer four H2 subjects of which three must be from Economics, Literature, History or Geography, Chinese LL, China Studies, Music or Art.
There is no application form for this, as any Arts student who qualifies will get it.
Scholarship available to JC1 and 2 Students at TJC
TJC Awards:
- GIC-TJC Academic Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to students with good academic performance (L1R6<8) and good CCA contributions. Recipients of the award will receive S$800 a year as well as reimbursement of school fees. They will also be given priority placement on the college’s leadership, development and overseas programmes.
- SportsXcel Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to student athletes who have achieved a Top 4 placing in National Schools competitions from Secondary 3 onwards (Individual or Team). In the case of Team Sports, they should be key players from main team. In addition, they should be of good academic standing. Recipients of this award will receive S$800 a year as well as reimbursement of school fees. They will also be inducted into the College’s sports development programme.

This application form should be submitted to Temasek Junior College by 10 January 2008.
- Lucy Khoo Book Award
This award is valued at $100 and is awarded to ten JC 2 students who showed the most improvement in GP results between the Year-End Evaluation in JC 1, and the Mid-Year Evaluation in JC2. Performance in JC 1 Mid-Year Evaluation, class participation and conduct will also be taken into consideration.
