throughout the first TA1 2009 Meet-The-Parents Session on
Emcees for the night, Yeo Tze Hern of 1B/08 and Nicole de Silva of 1C/08, started the ball rolling by providing an overview of the programme . Mrs Lim Kia Huan, Vice Principal 1, then took centre stage with her opening address and the introduction of key personnel in Temasek Academy (TA). Led by the Presidents of TASCIP, Leong Jia Yun of 1C/08 and Glen Chua of 1A/08, this orientation would be fully planned by the TA2s of 2009. The short introduction and showcasing of the sneak preview managed to ignite the excitement and anticipation in the audience as the video drew laughter from them. As the night came to a close, the TA1s and their parents adjourned for refreshments at the grandly decorated alfresco dining area under LT2. While they tucked into their food, tutors, parents and students alike engaged in casual talk regarding TA. Everyones hard work did not go to waste as the parents and TA1s were clearly impressed by the student ushers and the tutors. One parent even commented that the briefing was very impressive and exceeded my expectations. A fresh new chapter is about to begin with this briefing and indeed, a warm
