Highlight:TA
1 Students will have an opportunity to participate in a 2-week Service-Learning Programme
in Term 1 to expand their horizon to engage the community around them to learn to see
beyond themselves and extend their circle of influence for the greater good of the
community.
TA2 Students will have an opportunity to be trained using the Service-Learning tools in
carrying out their CIP to help them become reflective learner in life.
Temasek Student Life:
There’s never a dull moment in the life of a student in Temasek Academy.
Apart from the explicit character education programme, students can realize their
potentials while having fun too. Students can enjoy themselves when involved in activities
organized by the Student Life Unit such as the Student Council, House Committees for
concerts, seminars, film festivals, music festivals or grand festive celebrations like
Mardi Gras, Temasek Idols, TOGAs (Temasek Outrageous Group Activities).Apart from the
excitement, they learn creativity, entrepreneurship, initiative and many valuable
qualities by being involved.

Every TA student is an independent learner, a critical thinker and a community
leader.
At Temasek Academy, the focus of Student Development is on the character education of the
student. Character education is given the same emphasis as academic education as we
prepare our students to face the challenges of an increasingly competitive world where
their personality and character may become the very asset that gives them an edge over
others and is vital to a successful life.
Over and above direct and explicit teaching programme, at Temasek Academy special emphasis
is placed on experiential learning and we provide a plethora of platforms and
opportunities and rich variety of events and occasions to challenge the students to reach
