Congratulations to all of them for their good performance! We are deeply grateful to all the participating schools for helping us make the preliminary round a success. Also, we would like to invite all schools, whether finalists or not, and all students, whether participants or not, to attend the Grand Finals on 29 May 2008 in the TJC Auditorium to witness the proceedings.

What the entire Challenge is about

The preliminary quiz round comprises 40 multiple choice questions on the lower secondary science curriculum and was conducted on 26 April 2008 (Saturday). An analysis of the results will allow schools to know where their teams stand in comparison to others and to test the understanding of the subject content of each student.

The top 10 teams of the quiz will then move on to next round, which is the science day-camp, conducted on 28 and 29 May 2008. Based on a problem-based inquiry learning approach known as the THINK© Cycle, the activities in the day-camp will stretch the finalists beyond the scope of textbook content. Refreshments will be provided throughout the event.
